The Louisiana rapper, who was sentenced in January to time served and three years of supervised release stemming from a 2023 federal gun charge, is reportedly facing scrutiny from his probation officer.

In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Boosie asserted that his probation officer located an email confirming his travel authorization. He explained that the PO initially "overlooked" the email, which was reportedly located "at the bottom of the paper under the flights," and therefore would not count it as a violation.
Furthermore, Boosie addressed the marijuana detected in his system at the initial stages of his probation. He stated that all subsequent drug tests have shown him to be drug-free, emphasizing his consistent compliance with testing protocols: "Every test after that shows that I’m drug free. I get tested all the time n I’m always crystal clean." He also highlighted his extensive performance history since being placed on probation, noting, "I’ve had over 50 shows since being on paper and I’ve went through the right process to notify my PO on every show."

He recounted an instance where individuals over his PO asked him to sign a waiver allowing their conversations to be recorded, a request he vehemently refused: "They asked him to ask me would I sign a piece of paper saying can he record our conversations n I said 'HELL NO.'" This suggests a distrust of those overseeing his probation beyond his direct PO, who Boosie characterized as having been "fair to me throughout this process."
He also underscored his commitment to fulfilling all requirements of his supervised release, including community service. "I have several hours of community service completed," Boosie stated, adding, "I’ve been doing great on federal probation." He reiterated his proactive approach to his legal situation, specifically concerning the assault charge: "Me n my attorneys r working to get this other case dismissed."
